Please what could have caused the peak intensity of polymer reinforced with pristine CNT and modified MMT (CNT/MMT hybrid) to be reducing with increase in the nanohybrid filler concentration? Most literatures usually report increased intensity with increase filler loading.
I would appreciate relevant article(s) if available, please.

How did you "measure" the absorbance, i.e. did you measure transmittance or ATR...? What do your samples look like? PLA0.5hyb looks like that you measured transmittance and the sample was too thick. Did you normalize the spectra and if yes, how?

I measured transmitance through the use of film.
Yes, I normalized the spectra after the baseline correction. I changed the normalize limit from 1.5 A to 1 A; smooth.

The concentration, path length, temperature, crystallinity, the softness of the sample and sampling, density of the sample material (concentration!), IR bandwidth, the physical state of the sample, structural and dipole value changes, transparency of the sample, presence of moisture, tunneling effects, and the mode (KBr/Diamond Phase) affects the sample results. Check out your samples!
How thick are your films? Did you measure them "freestanding" or are they on a substrate? If the latter is correct, which substrate did you use? It looks like as if the surface of your films is relatively smooth... is this correct? I ask to understand if there are interference or scattering effects present in your spectra.

It was freestanding prepared by pressing, the film was not smooth.
