Our new paper has a completely different control method off course, still catching 11% similarity with a previously published paper. Therefore, is this much of similarity/plagiarism acceptable in Elsevier ? It is very hard to remove the plagiarism in this case because of the use of the similar terms. We have compared the results of the new paper with the previous one. Still we have some hesitation in communicating this paper. Any tips or suggestions welcome. Thanks
