Most times, we are instructed by editors (that is journal policies) not submit our papers in more than one journal at a time. But there is evidence that some journals (editors) can keep your paper for months and even years before even acknowledging the receipt of your submission. Some can take years to decide whether to reject or accept your paper. In these instances, what should an author do? What about the lost time? I want to really know if we have a right here, and even in the process of publication.
