Cryodynamics has revolutionized Cosmology ?
Where controlled or very low temperatures are needed in astronomy, cryogenics is the tool needed. In time such equipment and measurements will add a great deal of information to infra-red and other aspects of astronomy. Presently cryogenics has added a lot of information to astronomy. Whether this new info has revolutionized cosmology, it hasn't. But it's a matter of opinion whether it has revolutionized astronomy.
If such information overthrows the standard model of cosmology within less then a decade it will be revolutionary. I think within just a few years after the James Webb is up and running its discoveries will either make or break the ΛCDM model.
A prime basis for its possibility and technology is cryogenics.
