Hello. I choose to crowdsource for an innovation topic for my MBA dissertation. But now I have trouble making a research question and theory. As there are covid restrictions and I have to use my local area for doing diploma. I also I need to use an interview or a poll in my work.

Question formulation is a creative process. There is no easy answer and it is your responsibility, not others. Having said that, there are a number of principles that you need to apply:
1. Read - what has already been published about crowdfunding of SMEs? What are the bigger questions in this research area? You cannot try to answer the big questions in the field but it is important to know what they are.
2. Data - what data can you realistically access? Can you obtain a sufficient number of responses for a quantitative questionnaire? If, not they you should consider a questionnaire with open-ended questions or interviews or mixed methods. If you cannot obtain enough data this way either then consider doing a systematic review of the literature.
3. Interest - why are you interested in this subject? Do other people have similar interests and have already published something in the area?
4. Career - What do you want to do in the future? How can you use your opportunity of doing a dissertation to make contacts and gain insight about the role you wish to have in the future.
5. Niche - putting all these together, try to identify something unique which is viable.
