Hi everyone, i have seen many crop models like APSIM INFO CROP MODEL CERES-WHEAT and many more can you please suggest which is good just for wheat and rice what variable should we put ,please suggest me

From what I know and understand, it depends on what is you main point of interest. As far as APSIM is considered, it is a relatively easy and comprehensive modeling for yield simulation mainly for the crop and soil management parameters, such as NPK, Fertilizers, Sowing dates etc. However, APSIM doesn't account for the pest and disease infestation. So, perhaps, you can decide on what your research priority or objective is.

APSIM has many parameters country wise but in case india there is not any ,can you please suggest from (infocrop model ceres-wheat,rice,DSSAT?
sir tell me about ceres model ?is it free ?which parameters used in this model to get agriculture productivity?can we do forecast from it too??
