In this complex, when CrCl3.3H2O react with NO donor bidentate Schiff base ligand, replacement of two chloride ligands of chromium with the liberation of HCl with Schiff base ligands, but what happens to the third chloride of chromium? How come it is replaced by water, a neutral ligand?
The third chloride would act as a counterion of the new complex formed with a positive charge, Cr(III)L+. Regarding the coordination of the H2O molecules, we must look at the spectrochemical series and it is observed that the ligand H2O is stronger than chloride.

I think the structure might be incorrect. It needs a cationic charge and a outer-sphere chloride (unless a redox process happened somehow and it's reduced to Cr(II)).
