Along with other countries, United States of America is also under severe grips of COVID19 infection, with obvious results of casualties than many other competently developed countries. What is the one or more reasons for this trend of covid19 related fatalities in US?
There seems partial contribution of all such reasons mentioned in the question itself. There may be climate reasons too. This country have people's from almost all region's throughout the globe. They possess different immunity etc levels. A statistical model can be used, when country-wise information of people's get available, showing data's within USA and data's of their mother countries.
It also has to do with mixed messages from the from an ill-informed Administration, which scoffs at wearing a mask, encourages citizens to rise up against their local governments to defy lock-down orders, conducts mass re-election rallies against ALL scientific advice. These subversive health actions are perpetuating the virus.
The death rate from COVID-19 is just above 5% in USA and EU countries have more than 10% on an average except Germany. Don't look at the number only then you can judge better. USA has already allocated huge budget to save its people, we can't imagine that much and rest of it has been already shared by Dr Donna Lisi .
Please look at the death rates in Italy, Spain, Sweden, Belgium and France has more than 18% death rate. It's today's data from JHU.
Mostly careless. A lot of people don't care for wearing masks. Many people don't keep social distancing. Especially, the young people. Often you can see a lot of them get together without any protections. They may not die if they contract the disease, but they would bring the disease to their elders, who are vulnerable to the disease. Raj Kumar Kapooria
