Hi,
I was lucky enough to get my paper in the cover of Deep Sea Rearch Part I: Oceanographic Research Papers in 2022. Now I'm wondering to get a good picture of the cover to frame it. Unfortunately, they did send us the cover with the final design and at the DSR page the quality is very (very) low. They offer download the cover but just the picture without the journal graphic design. To add more sadness and touch your souls, we don't get the journal in our library.... So, if someone have for any chance access to the volume 186 of Deep Sea Research Part I and can send the scan, or a good picture, I would deeply graceful. It was one of my PhD tessis papers and having a cover was a nice thing to keep in my studio.

Ivan Hernandez I found these two images. They are the same. And seem large enough. But I don't know their actual resolution. I'm sending them to through the ReaseachGate "messages". Let me know if you receive them ? and if the are adequate ?

Ivan Hernandez Ivan, I also have the PDF of the paper with the art. My questions: (1) I can send the full set of PDF pages. Will that be sufficient ? (2) Or, do you need the images cropped, in other words, images separated from the pages ? If you desire separate art files I need to know dimensions, resolution (pixels per inch) and file format. I used Adobe software to crop the graphic art. (2) Can you crop pages and check the resulting dimension and image resolutions -or- find others that can do this ??

Thanks very much to taking your time to find the image. However, this is not cover for the DSR I, vol 186...:(. I'm not looking a figure of a specific paper, instead I wonder for the cover of the volume. I send you the cover in very low resolution for reference. If you have this volumen and you can send me a quick scan or a picture of the cover I'll appreciate very much
Ivan Hernandez Ivan, I'm very confused. - Am I mis-understanding what you want due to translation ?? - I'm asking because the first thing I sent was the image you sent today. - Please re-look for a PDF file I sent named, "Cover_2022_Deep-Sea-Research-Part-I--Oceanographic-Research-Papers - It looks identical to what you sent today. In addition, if that PDF is inadequate you tell me the resolution and dimensions you need.
Ivan Hernandez --- Ivan, I made another search. -- I found the same image you posted 10 hrs ago (21 Feb 2024). Like yours, it does not have the background graphics or the journal's logo. - It's same as the one I sent a few days ago - the dimensions are 21 x 29.7cm (an A4 page). It comes into Photoshop with enough pixel/cm for your purposes.
Late tomorrow I'll collect what I found, record the links used, and send that attached to a ResearchGate "message".
** Also...I'll include the contact information of two members of the publication's editorial staff. - I believe they will be able help. I'll explain what I'm thinking about in same "message".
Ivan, Tomorrow I'll send the information I collected. Expect it by a ResearchGate "message". Expect two images and a 2 page PDF file. (For example; a simulated cover page -and- the high resolution and page size undersea photo without the journal logo and background. With a 2 page PDF. -- The file describes the paths I used and corresponding links to collect your article pages. -- Also; I mentioned a new idea to get the actual cover. I suggest contacting people on the editorial staff. I include a link that lists all of them. And found contact information for two. I believe they will assist you.
Ivan Hernandez Ivan, as I previously explained I can not find the cover page that includes the journal’s logo and background graphics. In the group of attached files is a low-resolution replica made to show what I think you want along with the hi-res version that you didn't want With the attached files you'll find a letter explaining what I did, where I searched and my "what-to-do-next" suggestion. There's a folder of the article pages as separate files. I decided to send them even they may not be useful.
