The counter electrode must perform the following functions properly:

- It must act as ohmic contact with the electrolyte such that it transfers the positive ions promptly at its surface.

- The electrolyte must capture the holes at the interface with the die. So, its empty electronic level lie above the homolevel of the Die such that the holes will drop in these electronic level and transported by the electric field on the electrolyte to the counter electrode acting as anode.

So, in summary the electrolyte acts a hole trans-pot material and the counter electrode as an ohmic contact to the electrolyte.

Can I use this circuit method u suggested as an alternative to simulater study? But then how will i get source?
