I am developing new approach to wood treatment which would utilize water solution of active ingredients for wood preservation and other properties. I would appreciate the name of water soluble (decent solubility of up to 25%) boron compounds with approximate solubility indicated and, if possible, the source to buy from.. Thank you

As we know that Borax is very soluble and cheap boron compound, may be you can use its raw material.. Kernite.. (but it seems expensive). Other solution.. You can combine borax with other compound (still must be investigated) in order to limit its solubility.. Especially during leaching test for the preserved wood.
Several boronic acids are water-soluble, but they are more expensive than borax or boric acid.
