Often voltages in power electronics are square (not sine), thus measuring losses and splitting in core and copper losses is not simple.
Could you point accurate methods (and corresponding papers) for measuring losses in magnetic components and especially magnetic cores?
Losses in core iron, are hysteresis and eddy current, Wi=Wh+We= Af+B(f)(f), at constant flux density(V/f= constant). Keeping V/f constant, measure power loss in core and plot graph Wi/f to f, as Wi/f=A+Bf, slop would gave value of B and intercept on Y(Wi/f) axis the A for the given core. Only needed are two winding(pri&sec) to wound on core, or could used the radimade transformer....
