In other words: as a student (long time ago...) it was already an excellent book. Nowadays it is supported with all sorts of additional features.

Atkins Physical Chemistry. There are various edition and they differ very little. I believe you can find 8th edition pdf online, and on scribd.com you can find many editions as well!

I would say Atkins as well. Finding more elementary problems would be a help to the students. Also giving relevant old exam problems to the students is a help.
