I am looking for some useful data collection and plotting software.
I usually use Matlab for numerical analysis and the obtained data/results are further employed to draw some figures for publications. However, this way does not seem very convenient especially when the data become massive, and the data graph is not impressive enough. I found some similar research work wherein they present graphic results in a very exquisite and high-quality style.
If you can share your experience and recommend some practical and simple data management software, I would greatly appreciate it!
As an alternative you can use the R software for graphical analysis and for other data analysis problems.

Some of our colleagues use 'Origin' and it seems to be a good alternative.
Yes, I am using OriginPro 8 software. It is very easy and user friendly software. It is used for scientific graphing and data analysis.
Also consider "matplotlib" as an alternative. Its a library in python. Check out the following link for possible figures you can plot:
