We used auto combustion sol gel technique for synthesize Cu substitued Ni-Cd ferrite nano powders. We have got the variation of average crystallite size with Cu substitution and it shows higher values at 700 C than that of 550 C. Is it usual behavior and why?
I need to know more also the advantage of Cu substitution n the study of nano ferrites.
Temperature plays an important role in the particle size of nanoparticles.
As the temperature increases particle size increases.

Always remember one thing that the size of nanoparticles are very Temperature sensitive . With increase the temperature the particle size also increases.
Thermal energy plays a dominant role for crystallization and grain growth. As the temp rises thermal energy also increased which enhance grain/ crystallite growth.
