Greetings colleagues I am establishing in my laboratory the elaboration of working banks of S. pneumoniae for its later use in obtaining capsular polysaccharides. I have obtained good results but the viability of the crops has decreased by more than 2 orders and thus they have been maintained for a period of one year. Could someone tell me about your experience in lyophilization of Streptococcus pneomoniae strains?
