How will I prepare the asphalt sample to stimulate the effect of moisture, on which I have to perform a AFM analysis to find the F-D plot. I am told that the equipment may be damaged if wet sample are used..?
Instead of AFM use piuma devices. Any other with force measure system may be use.

There the results have been shown, but how the conditioning is done is not described.

I had planned to keep the sample under wet conditioned for 24 hours and then, plot the F-d curve. But, the operators say that the moisture might be retained in the sample which would damage the tip and are therefore fearful of conducting the test.
