If next Monday I want to implant my flexDrives, could I do gold-plating this week? I use Stablohm wire and store my flexDrives in a metal cake box. I noticed the impedance of tetrodes after gold-plating was always increased. I am worried this would effect my signal later. And if I do gold-plating again, the short-circuit will occur, which means the gold particles are still on the tip of the tetrodes. One of my colleague said when the gold particles were soaked into liquid, the impedance could be decreased again. Is that true?
