     A publication released in 2014, entitled, "Socially shared mourning: construction and consumption of collective memory," authored by Anu Annika Harju, Examines online mourning practices on YouTube, this article examines video tributes dedicated to the late Steve Jobs, with a focus on collective remembering and collective construction of memory. Combining netnography with Critical Discourse Analysis, the analysis focuses on the user comments where the past unfolds in interaction and meanings are negotiated and contested.     The Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication released a publication entitled, Publicly Private and Privately Public: Social Networking on YouTube," authored by Patricia G. Lange which I also found quite intriguing and potentially relevant to your current research. An excerpt from the abstract states, "YouTube is a public video-sharing website where people can experience varying degrees of engagement with videos, ranging from casual viewing to sharing videos in order to maintain social relationships. Based on a one-year ethnographic project, this article analyzes how YouTube participants developed and maintained social networks by manipulating physical and interpretive access to their videos."
