I have a XRD data pattern for new crystal complex prepared and i want to display and figure this crystal complex in 3d str figure could anyone recommend me any program that helps me in displaying the crystal complex in 3d str ?!
as already answered by Steven Van Petegem Crystalmaker is a good choice, nevertheless, it is proprietary as Materials Studio, Topas, Diamond from CrystalImpact, HighScore and so on...
There are several free software such as VESTA, very easy and powerful
(https://jp-minerals.org/vesta/en/download.html), to be used, among others.
For a free program, there are two excellent choices. The first is Mercury from the CCDC. https://www.ccdc.cam.ac.uk/free_services/mercury/ This will input a LOT of formats. Also, Olex2, while primarily an interface for solving crystal structures, is a great drawing program as well and will input shelx and .cif files. https://www.olexsys.org/
Both of the above are available for both Windows and Mac computers
