Could anyone provide a protocol for extracting n-alkanes from sediments using CEM-EDGE Automated Solvent Extractor?

I have started working on reconstructing paleoclimate using n-alkane as proxy with the help of ASE for extraction and GC-MS. Reviewed literature to get idea about how much sample is required, and what should be the amount of solvent require for extraction but didn't get info regarding the use of Automated Solvent Extractor(CEM Production).
