This species was found in Gibara Bay (Northeastern Cuba), collected by a fisherman in a beach trawl in the mouth of a small stream (1.0 m depth). The family has 3 genus (Williams, 1993), but description it doest´n fit into any. Remarks: only 1/3 of the gastric with spininiform tubercles and pilose tufts;flattened rostrum ornamented, subcuadrangular, with a median notch; upper surface of the tail fan with a rugose pattern. this is not a Gebiidea: Upogebiidae, but a Axiidea: Strahlaxiidae.
Species is most probably Neaxiopsis gundlachi (von Martens, 1872) that is common in Cuba.

Thanks Peter. Well I was in a mistake. You are right this specimen is Neaxiopsis gundlachi, I checked in Sakai´s (2011) "Axioidea of the world..." The problem is that this species was not reported in the check list of Cuban Decapoda in 2007 and I could not find a report of this species in other check list for the region

(Decapoda: Gebiidea: Upogebiidae) is described and illustrated for the first time from material reared in the laboratory. The development includes four zoeal stages and a megalopa. At 20–22°C the megalopa was attained 16 days after hatching. The zoeae of U. yokoyai are distinguishable from those of the sympatric species Upogebia major and Upogebia issaeffi, inhabiting Russian waters of the Sea of Japan, by the presence of two pairs of spines (posterolateral and posterodorsal), each on the fourth and fifth pleonal somites. The megalopa of U. yokoyai differs in the length of the rostral spine, shape of telson and number of antennular aesthetascs.
