The species of Meotica genus are problematic to identify correctly, so I need a help of experts of this group. I used the Muona (1991) as a quid for identification of this specimen. I was found that this specimen fit to description of M. exilima. It is important to confirm that, because it is seems to be a new species for Baltic region. Three specimens were found in the litter of fresh (3-4 months old) clear cut of Picea abies stand, rich in humus and moist substrate.

Thank You Dmitry! Indeed, the body features of my studied specimens are very similar to description of M. pallens (diameter of eyes), but genitalia showed other.

Of course, dear Emana, the pictures is not very clear, but some important characters are visible quite good. Some doubt remains even if you identify such small Aleocharins having specimen and using good microscope, especially if it is doing by .not expert of this group. Do you have an alternative id for this specimen?
I would like to return to this question and ask again, because it remains still open. Most possible I have caught two species of Meotica in the same habitat. Comparing females, I found different forms of spermotheca ans 8-th abdominal sternites. And I am afraid that any from them fit to M. exilima.
