Look for to possible effects of the iSGLT-2 in dedifferentiation of a-cells to b-cells after chronic stimulation of this cells with iSGLT-2.

I believe as in the beta cells in the hyperinsulinism to occur dedifferentiation to alfa cells, the alfa cells in hyperglucagonism can occur a reverse path, but this is only a theory.

Studies in type 1 diabetes rats treated with iSGLT-2, the beta cells mass and function were higher as in control rats. If this effect was by glycemic control, insulin treatment would made the same.

Congratulations on your excellent project!
