China's cotton price continued to drop by 20% as of June 3. Analysts have pointed out that radical change in cotton prices since last year has been a great blow to cotton enterprises
China Agri Advisory has estimated that price of cotton will continue to drop, probably until August or September, as it is affected by insufficient domestic demand and a decline in exports.
China Cotton Association has stated that if many cotton enterprises would actively deliver goods to textile industries, the transaction volume would be slightly increased. However, downstream enterprises will have to wait for improvement in the latter half of the year when orders start arriving in larger numbers.
