If an encoder has a resolution of 5000 pulses/revolution and the motor is running in 1500 rpm, that gives the output of the encoder 125000 pulses/s. Can the sampling time used in dSpace (Microlabbox) be reduced small enough to capture pulses of that signal and process it in a controller? Or is it possible to make parts of the control code with a higher sampling frequency?

What is the smallest sampling time possible for dSpace (Microlabbox)?

Best regards
