We are addressing those readers and admirers of Chandamama - the popular children’s magazine published in India. Though Chandamama has ceased publication, many of its readers continue to cherish fond memories of the magazine. Published for more than seven decades, it has created a valuable content that was liked and enjoyed by children and adults as well. It will be an interesting addition to knowledge pertaining to children's literature if we can analyse and document the content features which enthralled and mesmerised children of the past generations.
With this in view, we have taken up the content analytic study to understand the appeal and popularity of the magazine among children and adults.
