What is the percentage number of people (in a clincial sub-population) developing irritant or allergic contact dermatitis to wet ECG electrodes?
Are there gender differences or differences between different skin types?
Is there anything known about long-term wear effects of wet electrodes up to 3-5 days.

Contact dermatitis to ECG electrodes are rare. Due to its low incidence, a multi-centric study is required to find out the actual occurrence of the condition or the gender difference.There is a dearth of data on this subject in Indian population.
