Hello,

I am trying to make a spiral torsion coil with the application of both heat and force but I don't want the coil ends to deflect in radial direction rather only in tangent direction, i.e. the end will follow a circular path.

How can I apply this constrain in APDL?

A model for this type is given in Attached picture. Thanks in advance for your time.
