Thank you very much for rising the conservation of gastropods related issue in India. However, Before conservation of any species (Gastropoda, Bivalvia, Aplacophora, Polyplacophora, Monoplacophora, Amphineura etc.) we needs details study on population, ecology, life cycle etc. after that, we conclude the need of conservation of particular gastropods or other species.

Moreover, in India we have still struggling on the taxonomy , ecology of molluscan taxa. Please find the details status and conservation related issue published in Journal of Threatened Taxa.

Dear S.K Sajan,

It is nice that atleast you have replied to the discussion section. A very few people are concerned with the conservation status as much information is not present about invertebrates especially Gastropods in India. But it is great, that you have given some reference papers to check regarding the conservation status.
