I want to connect these labels .can I just connect these without converting it to bw ? and I need help in the algorithm of connecting these labels in matlab.Thank you
I didn't exactly understad your problem. Do you want to connect regions with similar color?
Andre Ricardo Backes Dear Andre ,thank you so much for taking time.Actually I want to segment the window of my facade and this image that I have sent you is the subregion of my facade .I have used watershed algorithm for such segmentation as you can see in the first image but someone has suggested me using labeling connected component algorithm beside watershed algorithm .so I tried bwconncomp function in matlab but this function just disassemble my previous segmentation (watershed segmentation).I do not no that if both of these function can be implemented in one image or I should use just one of them?I am new in image processing ,matlab and coding so accept my apology if my questions are elementary.
I usually prefer to test simple image processing techniques before using something more complex like watershed. Here is my suggestion:

Andre Ricardo Backes Thank you again . you are right if my image was just like the previous one I could use your algorithm but I have just copped one window to test my watershed algorithm and actually I want to segment the windows of this image (asnad) so I have to use watershed algorithm and actually I have segmented it with watershed algorithm (the first image that I have posted) but I dont undrstand the next step which I should use label connected component .......
