After the world returns to normal at the end of this pandemic, we may expect conferences to restart. So, researchers from around the world are requested to suggest the names of their favorite conferences, which we may plan to attend.

As far as I know, most major conferences in India have been cancelled in 2021 or they have not yet announced their dates. It seems that for the time being, we will have to go ahead with virtual conferences.
Thank you for your contribution in this discussion. In the coming times, if the pandemic persists, do you think that this conference be held virtually?
Thank you for your contribution in this discussion.
Actually this is the reason that I initiated this thread. I thought that we will come to know from each other about conferences held in different parts of the world., the opinions of everyone about those conferences etc. Now most of these conferences will be held virtually because of the ongoing pandemic. So it will be easier for us to participate there.
Hope you find the link to a conference that you are looking for.

It is great to know about your beautiful experience in Tenth International Forum of NGOs in Moscow, Russian Federation. The topic of the conference seems to be highly interesting.
Anamitra - "After the world returns to normal at the end of this pandemic, we may expect conferences to restart." How do you know when the corona pandemic will end? Currently in our country (Germany), in Europe and in the USA there is no end of the pandemic in sight. I'm afraid that perhaps nothing will "return to normal" in the first half of 2021. Besides, my absolute favorite among all chemical conferences is the Pacifichem conference series which is held only every 5 years in Honolulu, Hawaii. I happened to attend the first one in 1984, and then again in 2005 and 2015. In 2015 I organized a 2-day symposium myself. The Pacifichem meeting attracts ca. 20,000 chemists from all over the world. The last one was scheduled for December 2020, but it has been postponed until December 2021 because of COVID-19.
Thank you for your kind contribution in this discussion.
I do not know when the ongoing pandemic will end. That's why, I said "After the world returns to normal at the end of this pandemic, ..." There was specifically no time mentioned here. Its just pure hope that prompted me to write it this way. Currently, in India also we cannot see an end to this pandemic. Just yesterday, we lost an eminent political leader of the opposition party, Ahmed Patel, because of COVID. When it comes to most scientific decisions, I look forward to you and agree with you ... I also don't think that this pandemic will come to an end before mid 2021.
I am very glad to hear from you about the Pacifichem conference series and your great experience there. Attracting 20,000 chemists from all over the world is an admirable thing to do. In behavioral sciences, I wish we can one day do something like this.
Anamitra - You are absolutely right. No one can currently tell when the corona pandemic will come to an end. I assume that the situation will become much easier when a safe vaccine is available.
Yes, attracting over 20,000 chemists from all over the world to one conference is absolutely remarkable. Of course, in the case of Pacifichem the location (Hawaii) plays a major role. Everyone wants to visit Hawaii at least once in a lifetime. By the way, these 20,000+ participants do not all gather in one huge lecture hall. The conference is divided into numerous symposia and takes place simultaneously at ca. 10 major hotels in Waikiki. Before corona, the American Chemical Society held annual meetings which were always as big as Pacifichem.

I have also heard a lot about the American Accounting Association. I started my professional career as a faculty of Financial Accounting. At that time, I remember going through the definitions given by this body.
