I am trying to simulate surface and lamb waves in COMSOL Multiphysics. In Frequency domain, what steps I should adopt to simulate the behavior of my plate element corresponding to different frequency range.
Specifically I am confused in Boundary Condition, Should I give prescribed displacement or apply Force? What I want to is, to give a source point for excitation on my plate and check the behavior of my plate corresponding to different frequency ranges which I mentioned in sweep.
If anyone can comment on this specific problem or refer me any paper which has done similar work with mentioned method.

From my point of view, I think you need to perform your simulation by using Time Domain Analysis in Comsol. The excitation source can be an short impulse force in time. I know some researcher have done the similar with your problem. Please find the attached for details.
