If the ligand is new, we must performed titration of the free ligand in the acid conditions to determine the protonation constants. You can perform titration in the metal ligand ratios 1:1 and 1:2. After that,in the HYPERQUAD model introduce the hydrolysis constants of the metal and the protonation contant of the ligand, and follows to calculate the formation constants of the complex species.
