I want to compare the values of two 2x2 contingency tables. These are 2 unrelated samples for which we have an interim measurement and an follow up measurement (which are used to create the 2x2 contingency tables). The test result of the two test is either negative or positive. I want to statistically test if the values of 1 cell in the first contingency table is different to that value in the similar cell (for instance negative, positive) the other contingency table.
If I understood it correctly, with Chi2 you can only test one variable per group (hence one test, instead of the combination of positive/negative on the two test). Or am I missing something?
