I've been trying to find comparative analyses of population oscillations (animal or plant population cycles) and their causes in natural and human-altered ecosystems. I cannot find any. Does anyone know of such a study having been conducted in the field?

Thank you for the suggestion. However, I'm really curious about plant and animal populations and not so much about human populations since I'm interested in studies comparing cycles in "managed" and "unmanaged" areas (for example, populations fluctuations of a cyclic organism over several generations in natural areas and in areas affected by anthropic factors such as forestry, harvest, pollution).
