In gamma spectroscopy as well as in alpha spectroscopy, there are measurements of radionuclides with emissions at several distinct energies (such as Co-60 with its two gamma emissions). There are publications, in which a calculation of the combined decision threshold and/or detection limit (according to ISO 11929) based on all emissions is described:

Article Calculation of the decision thresholds for radionuclides ide...

Article Calculation of the detection limits for radionuclides identi...

Article Decision threshold associated with multiple measurements. Ap...

(the last one regarding an evaluation of different meaurements)

Although these publications exist, it seems to me that a combined calculation based on several emissions has not become a routine method. Does anybody of you know where such an evaluation is routinely applied (in a software or in a project)? Thank you.
