At the link, you can find color-coded contour USGS map of Mars with stretched colorbar (https://astrogeology.usgs.gov/search/map/Docs/Globes/i2782_sh2). Is anybody know, where I can find real colors for each elevation level, like it shown at this map (https://www.flickr.com/photos/109586958@N03/24017504669/)?
A quick work-around is to use one of the 'colour-from-image'-sites online. For example:
https://www.ginifab.com/feeds/pms/color_picker_from_image.php
Then you can simply upload your image, point to the location of the colour on you image and the site will tell you which colour it is. It can be difficult to do so on a very large image, therefore I have cut out the colour palette for your convenience, see attached file. Good luck.

The same think you can do in raster graphics editor, like Photoshop, but in this case you'll have not real colours, because the colors of colorbar modified by transparency and relief.
Could you please tell me where you involve these color in case fake of the true one. I mean in which type of applications
