I'm wondring if I could define cohesive elements(to investigate about crack) as a viscoelastic material?

Hello,
Cohesive material is often defined as elasto-plastic material. It is also defined as viscoelastic material. The softwares commercially available also have viscoelastic material model for cohesive soil.

No you can not. Cohesive elements have no hysteresis behavior in the elastic range, while the viscoelastic materials have elastic hysteresis behavior.

Check the phd thesis of marco musto. He developed the viscoelastic cohesive element in his thesis. He provided the routine the thesis. Hope this helps.
