Hi all,
I have a 2% stock solution of aluminium sulphate prepared as my coagulant. I tried to add 0.2mL and 2mL of coagulant to 100mL of wastewater which gives a dose rate of 40mg/L and 400mg/L. Both did not work.
All the experiments were done with fast stirring of 30 seconds and slow mixing of 5 minutes while allowing 30 minutes for it to settle.
Below are some specification of my wastewater:
COD: 13,640 mg/L
TS: 1.48%
TP: 120mg/L
NH3-N: 2658 mg/L
Just wondering if there were something wrong with my experimental procedure or dosage.

The pH of the digestate might be too high for effective aluminum coagulation. You could try to adjust the pH to 7.0 before the treatment.
