I have got Coelogyne pods and Knudson C medium for orchid seed germination, but since the seeds are too small and fibrous to handle, feel it extrmely difficult to do and sow uniformly on the medium...
shall i prepare the medum on petriplates or jam bottles....
sufficient literature is available but I feel practical difficulty........please help......videos can be provided........for convenience............
Generally I believe it is best to start from unopened seed capsules. The reason for this is that it maintains the seed in a pathogen free environment. If the seed is loose it could be diluted in a liquid or solid carrier to aid in uniform distribution. Whatever the choice of carrier it should be thoroughly disinfested prior to use.

You can try a disposable syringe.
I use it as a routine for research. it is simple, clean and easy.
Put the seed in the syringe;
Close with the piston;
put the needle;
suck a solution of calcium hypochlorite (7 g per liter) or sodium dichloroisocyanurate (5g per liter (Hypochlorite must be filtered) with some drops of detergent;
Allow at least 10 minutes, mixing sometimes;
Drawn off the solution - add autoclaved water - mix allow seed to drop in the bottom of the syringe and drawn it again, repeat two times;
add some water in the syringe, mix, detach the needle and drop the seeds onto the media;
Close the vessels...
That is it

The mature pod may be sterilized from outside. Then, it can be cut in the middle keeping it on a culture bottle that no seed is wasted; take half portion of the pod, hold inside the culture bottle and just tap on it so that seeds spread on the media. The pod can be slit across further and same procedure may be followed.
For me both suggestion are suitable, from Machado Neto and Sarkar. You may try handle it, train your self. After a couple experiments you may reach suitable. procedures.
