When a clinical trail succeed in first trails and fails at final trail, please write me, how could we justify the cause behind its failure statistically.
I think you will need to provide a bit more details about the specific problem.
If I understood you correctly, by first trials you mean phase 0 or 1 (feasibility study), while the final trial is phase 2 or 3, where you are evaluation clinical benefit of the method.
In this case, if use of CT showed no added clinical value in the last phase, plus if there is an alternative technique (e.g., with less dose or some other imaging in the current clinical practice), I am afraid that you will not be able to justify it. At the same time, it does not mean that you will not be able to use it, because (at least in Europe), request for a CT scans falls under responsibility of the doctor (radiologist). However, if there is no proven clinical benefit, you will not be able to change the current clinical practice >> there will be no reimbursement from the health insurance for this procedure.
