I have prepared chitosan in 1% acetic acid, then mix with siRNA with different weight by weight ration,

The problem is when I add chitosan to cells, it get precipitated and looks like crystals in cells. Chitosan concentration was 250-300microgram/ml. and when i isolated RNA, then checked 260 absorbance was coming 0.

Chitosan pH was 5.5, I also take media pH down to 6.

Is it okay that precipitation occurs in the cells.

I need some suggestion or guidance in this issue
