CO2 is probably the most commonly applied method of accelerating the hardening process of sodium silicate bonded foundry materials, removing the need for any drying and/or baking.  In my case, I wish to prepare ore pellets bonded with the minimum allowable % sodium silicate.  I want to chemically accelerate the hardening process using a fit for purpose chemical (excluding cement).  Any suggestions to such a chemical is welcome (substantiated or unsubstantiated).
