Good day to one and all. I am interested in finding out what percentage of soil bacterial biomass is comprised of the following elements: carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur? I am interested in working out the quantities (perhaps in kg per hectare) of these elements "held" in the living soil bacterial biomass. Thank you, and warmest wishes to all.
Bacterial cells are similar to plant and animal cells in their contents of biogenic and trace elements, as well as in basic chemical substances.
