Consider a scenario where a foam pad of some height as the same area as of AMTI force platform ( FP) is placed and a person is standing on it with feet together. In this case how the COP is calculated and how it is different than in the case when there is no foam over FP?
when considering the feet are between the 4 sensor positons, calculation of the CoP is identical to taht withoput the foam (derived from the force distribution and geometry (feet) of the 4 force sensors)
Rainer Rawer Does the height (h) of the foam above the FP (as h calculated from the of FP to the surface of the AMTI FP is near zero) be included in the calculation? My main concern was that only.
Kistler 9281B manual shows that calculation of a_x and a_y depends on a_z. I imagine there is similar documentation for your AMTI plate. Might be tricky if your foam changes height and the a_z can change (vs. for ex. a constant a_z = 54 mm for 9281B).
