in immunology, what is different between cells migration and cells homing?
Thank so much!
when a cell got signal of some injury they start to go at the site of injury that is called migration once they reach they cover that area by surrounding themselves that is called homing.. Homing is usually refereed in case of Stem cells

Cell migration is movement of cells from source to the region where there is a requirement of response or action.
Cell homing means the cells after their action move back to their origin site.
thank you so much!
a B cell mowing into blood is migration and mowing back into a lymph node is homing
