Let me first point to the fact that most impact, concerning a work and a person, is a-posteriori. You know yourself that Einstein used the Nobel lecture to speak about relativity, although he was given the prize for a very different work. The scientific crisis of physics would make a good topic for a high impact contribution; this would require: exact time-line of the crisis, naming the scientific factors of confusion, discussing the contra-polar theoretical pieces, pointing to new ways of knowledge integration. Finally, a high impact contribution is never full of redundancies and regurgitations, but a research work of scientific creativity to expand our horizon. Sometimes, good diagrams or pictures can add fuel to the fire.
i am following the answer of others , in my point of view the accurate , valid and reproducible knowledge, formulate an important research question, clarity , and logic leads to High impact factor
To write a research with a high impact factor the language of research must be court and that the subject of research is of high importance to and the writing must be in accordance with the style and instructions of publishing for a high impact factor magazine and that the references used in the search very modern.
Target the journal, download free pdf of sample article, follow the writing style, write the article, keep it for one month, then check it by self, co authors and subject/ language expert, give it a final shape and submit it.
A manuscript containing concrete objectives, suitable methodology, perfect analysis of results, along with discussion and validation, and lucid language is generally expected to be acceptable by a high impact factor journal.
But still it all depends on the choice of reviewers.
I am too following the suggestions of others. The title of the paper is primarily for marketing, so it should be interesting and captivating. I think image provided above also gives the basic of a research paper, and finally to find a research paper in the journal that you want to publish in, and look at it carefully for style, structure, and clarity.
" The paper provides insight into an important issue – for example, by explaining a wide variance when numbers are spread out from the mean or expected value, or by shedding light on an unsolved problem that affects a lot of people.
2. The insight is useful to people who make decisions, particularly long-term organizational decisions or, in our particular field, family decisions.
3. The insight is used to develop a framework or theory, either a new theory or advancing an existing one.
4. The insight stimulates new, important questions.
5. The methods used to explore the issue are appropriate (for example, data collection and analysis of data).
6. The methods used are applied rigorously and explain why and how the data support the conclusions.
7. Connections to prior work in the field or from other fields are made and serve to make the article's arguments clear.
8. The article tells a good story, meaning it is well written and easy to understand, the arguments are logical and not internally contradictory.
"Ideally, we would like to see articles perform well on all eight points, and that the author strives for a good balance amongst these criteria," said Dr. Pieper said.

The abstract section must show the entirety of the research conducted, speaking about the research, as it were, in a minute.
The introduction must be interesting, captivating, straightforward and must show the exact research gap the study conducted fills.
A brief literature review must expose these academic gaps in the field of research while grounding the study theoretically.
The objectives/research questions of the study must meet the SMART criteria.
The methodology must be robust enough to allow for replication of the study by other researchers.
The discussions and analysis must be scholarly, convincing and comprehensive.
The conclusion section must sum up and validate the findings of the study and show the way forward with the research in terms of sound, feasible recommendations.
Theoretical analysis and practical application distinguished and bold and the use of modern techniques in application with the support of statistical analysis, all the above with a little luck that makes the reviewers understand the details of your work !!!!!
In my opinion, research work may be extension of earlier proven work with new framework. New framework needs to be validated with real life examples.Applied research in general may have more impact.
Work based on original idea with appropriate methodology and perfect statistical analysis, presented in artistic language usually suits to high impact journal.
The 1st important step in writing an impactful paper is the research question...is it a pertinent issue? If the research is done is it going to provide insightful knowledge and solution to others? Crisp objectives are important.
Methodology of a paper makes it high impact according to me and so appropriate methodology should be used.
Analytical tests applied should be correct for the data.
Scientific writing shouldn't be frilly but precise.
Thank You Maytham for this interesting and important question. from my observations the most powerful and cited articles are the one with a very clear, logical and direct to the point argument. most of the famous theories that we usually cite are those clear and logical. Simple but make sense.
A high impact paper must have recent relevant references, scientific and social relevance, good inferences, simple to decipher and understand and in keeping with current scenario.
The author of a manuscript to be published in a high impact factor must know what he wants to portray/create in the minds of the readers. That is the writing must be scientifically original, novel and interesting to the editor, reviewers and the would be readers. The language must be clear and the entire paper must be chronologically logical and coherent. The approved scientific and artistic styles of writing must be strongly followed.
Nice responses have been given already. I am impressed by the response of Raid M. Al-Ani because he has given you broad guidelines on how to go about your writing. Before you think of writing an article suitable for publication in any high impact journal, it is widely expected that you have results that will be of interest to the reading public. In each of the guidelines suggested by Raid M. Al-Ani, the language of presentation is very important. Your language must be clear and straight to the point. Avoid unnecessary repetitions of words, sentences and phrases. Try as much as possible to be original in your writing because in this era of computer, anti-plagiarism softwares will highlight all copied segments of your work and then direct the editor to the original source. Once segments with these problems exceeds, a certain percentage, the editor will reject the work. My University uses 10%.
Try and use simple words so that you do not box yourself to a corner, be mindful of your tenses and the basic rules of writing in English if the work is to be published in an English Language Journal.
Pay special attention to reviewers' comments even when the work is rejected. Take time to reformat/correct your work according to the suggestions of the Reviewers'. Be mindful that some reviewers' might not be civil with the choice of words that they may use to describe your work. Once you take your time to correct the work, they will become your friends.
