I have a big list of patent publications in an excel file and I want to landscape it through attractive charts (like geographical focus, bubble charts, many more..) to my client. In MS Excel, everything can be done (but in a tougher way !). Is there any software that could make my objective easier and more attractive (with more statistical tools than MS Excel) ?
Through Internet, I came across these software and do let me know, If there are any other software or this software itself would suffice ?

I want to buy a statistical software that has more attractive and graphical tools that can access my Excel data file and gives me creative and attractive charts. Please help me.

Matlab is user friendly like MS Excel ? Can it take big data (like 20k rows and 40 columns of MS excel) to analyse ?
