Can you recommend a resource that provides the recommended number of CDEs per a number or range of number of inpatient beds?

I would like to understand the recommended number of CDEs needed per acute care bed. For example, 1 CDE per 50 beds? 100 beds?

As a quaternary care hospital we are committed to improving the care and outcomes of diabetic patients. I cannot locate evidence in the literature that supports a specific number of CDEs.
